Confluence Server and Data Center 7.4 is a Long Term Support release
This means we'll provide bug fix releases until 7.4 reaches end of life, to address critical security, stability, data integrity, and performance issues.

Team Calendars is now part of Confluence Data Center

In Confluence 7.11 we made Team Calendars available to all customers with a Data Center license.

We know many of you won’t upgrade before the next Long Term Support release, so we’ve made Team Calendars available to you now. If you have Confluence Data Center you can install the latest version of the app. You won’t need an app license, we’ll recognise your Data Center license. We recommend you also upgrade the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) to the latest version.

If you’re a server customer and already have Team Calendars, you can continue to renew your license. If you don’t already have a license you’ll need to upgrade to Data Center to get the app.

Long Term Support release roundup

It's been just over 12 months since Confluence 6.13 was designated our second Long Term Support release. In that time we've shipped a huge amount of value:

• A great new search experience that helps you find what you're looking for faster.   
• Significant improvements to how you edit attached files including a brand new UI for Companion app, and support for more browsers and environments.
• Added CDN support, rate limiting for external REST API calls, and new permissions troubleshooting tools to Data Center to help our largest organisations scale.
• Platform improvements including adding support for Java 11, MySQL 8, PostgreSQL 10, and Oracle 19c, plus loads of other upgrades and improvements under the hood.

Get the Confluence Server app on managed devices

You can now distribute the Confluence Server mobile app to your team using your Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. This is great if you need to restrict the app to company-approved devices, or a particular set of users.

If your MDM solution supports the AppConfig standard, you can also save your users time and prevent mistakes by pre-populating your site URL in the app. Got a lot of sites? No problem, you can pre-populate multiple site URLs. Logging in has never been easier. Learn more
