Pascal Menezes’ Post

In this CTO Chat episode I m going to cover E2E slicing, 5G and SD-WAN. MEF Forum is about to complete an E2E slicing specification that lays the framework for defining E2E slicing profiles. E2E slicing can be used across the ecosystem of enterprise, service providers and cloud providers networks to create a frictionless experience from device to service. Please join the standardization of E2E slicing in MEF Forum! #MEF #5G #E2Eslicing #SDN #CTOchat #sdwan #edgecomputing #cloud #digitalserviceprovider

Very insightful view on network slicing. You mention security and assurance as key operational attributes for managing network slicing. Don't forget that there is a heavy monetization aspect here as well, tied to how such services are charged by the network operator and even by the enterprise to its customers. Charging (revenue flow) is critical, especially if partners are involved. It ties back to assurance and SLA guarantees as well.
