Data warehouses are only one component of a larger business intelligence system so I'd like to leave you with a few suggestions on courses that you should consider adding to your personal learning watch list, and these will help give more context to the entire process. First, to move data into the warehouse, you'll need to be familiar with SQL Server Integration Services. This is the component of SQL Server that you'll use to create ETL processes that'll move information out of individual transactional databases and transform it in preparation to load into the warehouse.
