Mobile optimization takes time. So I set expectations early... – "It won't be pixel-perfect on Day 1." We focus first on usability, speed, and key flows. – "Some desktop features may need rethinking." Not everything fits on a 6-inch screen - and that's okay. – "We'll test on real devices, not just emulators." Helps avoid surprises after go-live. I also show quick Loom demos during dev stages. It keeps clients in the loop and avoids last-minute shocks.

Optimizing for mobile is crucial and managing client expectations is just as vitals as the technical work itself. * Education and Explanation: Explain any technical limitations or challenges encountered during optimisation in a clear & understandable way and always emphasise the benefits of mobile optimisation such as increased user engagement, improved accessibility and potential for new clients acquisition. This helps the client to understand the value of the work.

Managing client expectations during mobile optimization is all about communication and clarity. 📱 I start by explaining the differences in UX between desktop and mobile — what works beautifully on a big screen might need a re-think for smaller ones. 📋 I set clear priorities: performance, responsiveness, and usability first — bells and whistles later. 🔁 I also involve clients early with mobile previews and quick iterations, so they see progress and understand trade-offs. It’s not just about making it look good — it’s about making it work smart on every device.
