Remove a dependency in your plan

Removing dependencies from work items dissolves the relationship between the work items. It won't remove the work items from the plan.

To remove dependencies from a work item while looking at your timeline, select the dependency badge or the line that connects the two work items and use the  icon to clear it.

To remove dependencies while looking at your Dependencies report, select the line that connects the two work items. In the window that opens, select .
