Is the Insights Feature Available in Jira Software Data Center?
Google tells me that this feature is available in Jira Software Data Center, but I don't see the icon for this feature in my Backlog or on my Sprint board.

As far as a I know the board insights are only available in Jira Cloud.
An alternative would be to use reports or to create dasards with similar charts by using the Jira's gadgets such as Sprint Health gadget or Sprint Burndown gadget, plus eventually additional gadgets offered by apps (plugins) from Atlassian Marketplace.

In Jira Service Management 5.3, asset and configuration management tool got a new name: Assets. While they moved away from the old name— Insight—Assets still gives you the same functionality you’re used to.
